As part of my research for a book project on Allen Polite I did an interview with Amiri Baraka in his home on February 23 2009. Polite and Baraka first met in highschool i Newark, NJ. Later, as young adults, they both moved to NYC, pursuing careers as writers. This unedited interview is about 2 hours and 20 minutes long.
